In augustus 2023 hangt er iedere 3 dagen een nieuw gedicht bij het Trafohuisje aan de Hezelstraat in Ooij bij Nijmegen. Mijn gedicht ‘Days of Roses’ hangt er op 28, 29 en 30 augustus.

Days of Roses
You love the days
of roses. Laughing
voices on a sunny
afternoon. Where
winds roll over fields,
bringing memories
from a past, with
their scent of heaven
and earth. Looking
through dust and dirt,
sweet winds blow
seductively, a path
to invisible hours.
The night vibrating.
Names written in the
sky. You break a
glass. Hear a car
drive away.
A word that makes
you run beyond the
